For his CD Debut “Piano works by Bartok and Prokofiev” Mark Taratushkin selected works of the great innovators of the XXth century: Three Etudes by Bela Bartok, described by the composer himself as “unplayable”, Four Etudes by Sergei Prokofiev, that made composers’ debut as a pianist on Moscow stage, “Visions fugitives” op. 22, “Sarcasms op. 17” by Prokofiev as well as “Out of Doors” and “Improvisations on a hungarian peasant song” op. 20 by Bartok are going to be heard at the new album.
